Outsourcery Extends Unified Communications Capabilities With Polycom
Outsourcery, a UK IT solutions provider as selected Polycom’s unified communications platform to deliver it next generation could-based voice and video collaboration services. The new service will allow Outsourcery to offer its clients a cloud-based model that aids enterprises to use the most advanced unified communication facilities on a per-user, fixed-cost basis. The Polycom’s unified communications platform offers seamless integration with Microsoft’s Office Communication Server and the recently release Lync, which will act as a complement to Oursourcery’s existing Microsoft solutions, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
The decision to select Polycom was based on the Polycom’s high-quality portfolio of voice and video solutions, proven integrating with Microsoft Lync 2010 and Office Communication Server and its ability to implement standards-based H.264 technology, which reduces the bandwidth requirements for HD video communication by up to 50 percent.
